there will be a good sized update to my etsy shop today. a few additional totes, shoulder bags and pouches will be added throughout the day. i also made a SALE section and reduced the price of a few tote bags by $10!! cool dude.

another canvas and lace tote bag. this one made with my personal favorite canvas.. military bedroll from 1935. this will probably be the last canvas/lace tote i have up for awhile since i need to hoard my materials so i am able to finish a large order for consignment. speaking of that order - time to get back to work!

i've had a number of backpacks similar to this one in the works for many months, but just haven't been able to perfect the design. they're based on old boyscout packs and will end up being on the smaller side i think - because for some reason i like little backpacks. i used one for many months but during the winter time it's kind of hard to get on over bulky jackets. anyways - this bag should hopefully be up in my shop either this evening or tomorrow morning.

some photos of my favorite shoulder bag that i've made. it's constructed out of material from a world war two era bedroll. for being over 70 years old, the fabric is in incredible condition. it was hard for me to part with this one, but luckily i saved a little bit of the fabric so someday i can make myself something special with it.

a few photos of a necklace i finished yesterday. finding small metal paws is hard. i am always on the lookout and have only ever found two that i like! i'm starting to get anxious about the lack of flea markets (and metal paws) in my life.

i'm not so good at updating my blog. i think i am going to try tumblr and see if i'm better at that. maybe if i only have to post photos and no words i won't be so intimidated!
