PEG & AWL

Dear friends Margaux & Walter of Peg & Awl are now selling their beautiful wares through Terrain. The colors on these candle holders are so,so nice.

LATELY..

Been focusing almost all of my time on getting things situated in our new apartment. Slowly but surely everything is falling into place. I'll be sure to post more photos as things develop.

One of the best things about our new location is how much closer we are to the arboretum. Been taking long runs there at dusk and it's become such a nice routine.

WWI

There's something really incredible about working with material from World War I -- it always has this certain feel and this certain smell.

I made this large pouch today out of canvas from a WWI duffel. It's available HERE.

There's a big pile of canvas from a WWI era bed roll stashed away in my studio and I've been waiting until the perfect idea comes into my head to start sewing with it..

WEEKEND

Spent another real nice weekend on Cape Cod -- lots of time with family, laying on the beach, eating delicious food, long rides on clunky old bikes, picking beach plums. Now it's time to make a few more bags before I pack up my studio and move it across town next weekend.
