A MATTER OF IMPORTANCE.

ashley is a close friend of mine and a few days ago she wrote a blog post talking about a recent incident where a large company ripped off one of her beautiful little animals and started mass producing them without her permission. ashley is one of the most talented and hardest working girls i know and i'm really, really happy that she wrote about her experience. you should go here and read about it.

i wish this topic was one that was talked about more openly. we all work so hard and dedicate so much of ourselves to coming up with our own ideas. i can't even tell you how many times i've seen these ideas get stolen by others. it's pretty heartbreaking.

the least we can do is just keep talking about it and make people aware that it happens more than we think.

...obviously...by stealing other talented artist's original designs & creativity for the sake of their own quick profit...they are selling their souls...i support Ashley, she is wonderfully gifted...because of your post i found her work and Miss Maevis is coming home to me...purrrr

well that's crap. i can't imagine how awful it must feel to finally find your niche in the handmade world, only to have a giant company steal it away from you. is there anything that can be done in the way of justice?

oh, that's truly disappointing. I recently heard of another independent artist struggling because of the same offense.
