i came across this old wooden chest at my favorite antique store a few weeks ago and it's just the right size for storing my excess of old quilts and wool blankets.
they are all great but your favorite is mine as well. and alice, i have been going to auctions again lately...you should come with me sometime! there is a regular one in concord thurs. nights. whaddya say? i'm about to post on my blog about my recent auction purchase from today.

I have one very like yours. Its sits at the foot of my bed with my grandmother's special things. I just can't resist boxes and containers of any kind!
this makes my heart flutter! i should really get out of my warm apartment and go to a flea market today!
