ESTATE SALE

Earlier today I went to an estate sale at an old mill building. Everything offered was sewing/textile related. I came away with a pretty impressive haul -- old metal drawers (for $3.. and there's more than what's pictured), boxes and boxes of real nice old zippers (I have a few hundred of them now), a few bolts of fabric, some nylon thread in perfect muted colors, among other items. A very worthwhile trip.

RECENT FINDS

Came across this incredible WWI bedroll yesterday while digging through olde treasures in NH with my my friend Matt. The canvas is in perfect condition and has aged beautifully, leaving it with a waxed-like feeling. I'm sitting here with my knife anxious to start taking this thing apart in preparation for cleaning and then sewing. So, so excited about this find.
