ESTATE SALE

Earlier today I went to an estate sale at an old mill building. Everything offered was sewing/textile related. I came away with a pretty impressive haul -- old metal drawers (for $3.. and there's more than what's pictured), boxes and boxes of real nice old zippers (I have a few hundred of them now), a few bolts of fabric, some nylon thread in perfect muted colors, among other items. A very worthwhile trip.

I can not begin to describe my envy right now. Why are there no estate sales here?

Yeeha-Noha!
Thanks for the link on your side bar, I am honored:))))

btw: these metal drawers look like they are begging for a curious bird to ruffle through them...

Alice,
The zippers are a great find for your bags, how awesome. I am drawn towards storage and your drawered treasure is really nice too.
