So excited when a farmer friend brought the first batch of sour cherries to market today. The ones growing close to my house aren't quite ready yet. Think I'll make this pie and these pork chops.

Sour cherry pie, how yum is that?! Make sure you get all of the stones out - cherries are as scary as olives at the apéro!

i love a traditional french clafoutis -- you don't have to pit the cherries, and you're supposed to be verrrry careful when eating a slice. it's part of the fun of it. but whatever you do with those babies, enjoy!!
