MOUNTAIN OUTING

Seriously can't get enough of these photos from an outing to Mount Rainer in August 1924. So many good ones to share I'll have to break it up into a few posts..

SUPPER

It's nice having good buds who are chefs because I can trade them a custom bag for things like rabbits. And then wrap the rabbit in bacon and roast it. This was a delicious meal ! Can't wait to figure out to do with the next one ..

WEEKEND HAUL

Had a great weekend of digging .. found a carload of duffel bags & grain sacks & various other canvas. But my favorite finds are shown above ,, 1953 calendar from an estate sale basement woodshop & a WWII era nurse's sweater with a 1930's era German athletic shirt underneath .

Group of miners living & working in cabins outside of Esther mine.. very early 1900's in Ptarmigan Park, Washington state.. came across these photos while looking for cabin inspiration.

A BETTER LOOK ..

Knife I found yesterday at the flea market .. New all time favorite .. Love the brass handle & hand punched name.
